2018 Major League Soccer all-name team: Featuring Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Shaft Brewer

To quote famous football player/coach/pundit — and interim coach for the Tigers youth soccer team in Kicking & Screaming — Mike Ditka: “We became a team today!”

In the span 24 hours, the Los Angeles Galaxy acquired Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the crosstown rival Los Angeles Football Club acquired Shaft Brewer Jr. With those moves, the final pieces of the 2018 edition of the Major League Soccer all-name team was in place.

Here is the squad:

Quincy Amarikwa (San Jose Earthquakes)

When Amarikwa puts the ball into the back of the ol’ onion bag, you know there are fans out there that want to yell something NSFW.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic (L.A. Galaxy)

The Zlatan experience finally has hit America, and we’re all better for it.

Also considered: Latif Blessing (LAFC), Magnus Eriksson (San Jose Earthquakes), Shkëlzen Gashi (Colorado Rapids), Jack McBean (Colorado Rapids), Andy Polo (Portland Timbers), Maximiliano Urruti (FC Dallas).
