After Another Giants Loss, the Talk Is All About Odell Beckham Jr.

For the second consecutive week, after a second straight Giants defeat, the emotional outbursts of wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. dominated the conversation about what the Giants must do to get back on a winning track.

Beckham, in the middle of an unproductive performance during the Giants’ 24-10 loss on Monday, was penalized 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct after taunting Vikings cornerback Xavier Rhodes after a reception.

Rhodes had collided with Beckham on the sideline in what may have been a hit out of bounds. Beckham clearly thought the contact was late and turned to charge at Rhodes, resulting in the penalty.

Beckham, who finished the game with just three catches and a career-low 23 receiving yards, has been warned and fined several times by the N.F.L. this year.
