Eric Trump mingles with fans at U.S. Women's Open, hints President Trump may attend

BEDMINSTER — Eric Trump, the son of President Donald Trump, mingled with fans on Thursday during the first round of the U.S. Women’s Open at Trump National Golf Club.  

But the big question is if President Trump himself will be on the grounds this weekend. 

In a brief interview with The Record and one other outlet, the president’s son didn’t rule out the possibility of a visit this weekend. 

“TBD, TBD,” Eric Trump said, smiling. 

There are strong hints that the president will be in attendance. The FAA issued a temporary flight restriction over Bedminster earlier this week. And on Thursday, workers were planting trees and flowers near a glassed-in observation stand which Trump is expected to use this weekend.
