Martin Odegaard is going through some very good form this edition.
The Norwegian talent joined Real Madrid in January 2017 to be loaned to Eredivisie for two consecutive years, first at Heerenveen and then at Vitesse.
Meanwhile, this edition of the Los Blancos have loaned him to La Liga to Real Sociedad.
In his first six games, Odegaard has made extremely good appearances, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
But his loan to Sociedad could continue for another year, if the three sides are satisfied, Real, Soceidad and the player himself.
Los Blancos have begun talks with the player’s agent to extend Odegaard’s contract for another two years.
Currently the Norwegian deal with Real Madrid is until 2023, but the royal club intends to extend it for two more years.
The 20-year-old is believed to remain in the next edition as loaned to Soceidad before returning to Madrid with the right experience.
