Safety Kam Chancellor is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a neck injury he sustained last week against the Arizona Cardinals, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Saturday.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said last week the four-time Pro Bowl selection had a stinger.

Bradley McDougald or third-round rookie Delano Hill could take over the starting strong safety role.

The loss of Chancellor would be the latest blow to an already ailing secondary. Cornerback Richard Sherman tore his Achilles against the Cardinals, ending his season.
