Klopp compares Chelsea to Dortmund a few years ago

Chelsea will host Liverpool in the Premier League derby of the week.

Londoners will host the current Premier League leader, Liverpool, who have received the most points in their first five games.

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp has made an interesting comparison between today’s Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund a few years ago.

The German has said that the Londoners remember his former team thanks to the talented players they have on the team.

“Chelsea have transferred Christian Pulisic for £ 50 or £ 60m I’m not sure. Other players like Abraham and Mount cost from 60 or more million euros. Hudson-Odoi is also as good as the players I mentioned before. ”

“Chelsea are a very good team, it reminds me of Borussia Dortmund a couple of years ago and they are playing nice football,” Klopp said.

The German technician also praised Chelsea’s older players, such as Jorginho, Giroud, Kante or Pedro.

“Jorginho is not that young, but even though he’s only been playing for two years here for a miracle. Now Kante makes you think I will play 20 more years of football. Lampard has a good squad with veterans like Giroud, Pedro, Willain or in the bank Michy Batshuayi.

“It is not easy to create such a team if you are forbidden to transfer players, but Lampard has done so,” Klopp said.
